Robert Goldstick, Hitting, Defense (catching instruction)
Robert has coached and given lessons in the Chicago area for over 10 years. He coaches 12U and High School travel for Wow Factor Stoppers. He specializes in hitting and catching but can teach any position, having also played infield and outfield in college.
During Robert’s playing career at Endicott College in Beverly, MA, he finished top 10 in school history in six individual categories, including
3rd in most runners caught stealing
3rd in lowest stolen base percentage for a catcher
2nd in most runners picked off by a catcher.
However, it is his team’s success he is most proud of, reaching the New England Regional Championship, one game short of the College World Series as a senior.
Robert teaches all the skills needed to become a great individual player by putting an emphasis on the mental aspects of the game, while incorporating situational skills for your child to gain a competitive edge.
In the past he’s been Director of Instruction for DYBA and coached at Lake Zurich High School.
