Allison Heraty, Softball Hitting, Defense

Coach Heraty has been the head coach at St. Ignatius College Prep for the past 11 years. The Illinois Coaches Association has twice named her Sectional Coach of the Year. In 2022, she took the Wolfpack to the 3A state championship game and in 2014 earned a fourth place finish in the Illinois finals. Under her leadership, her Wolfpack teams have been 2-time GCAC Conference Champions.

Allison has coached 4 Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Players of the Year, and sent 5 players to play at D1 schools.

Prior to St. Ignatius, Coach Heraty coached at the Latin School for 5 years, where she won the Independent School League (ISL) Coach of the Year award. In addition, she coached two ISL players of the year.

Allison has been a teacher in the Chicago Public School system for the past 15 years. And when she’s not teaching or coaching, she’s chasing around her young daughter and son.
